We are committed to help people ...

The Bible says that God is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. Over and over again, we see examples of his heart for the poor and oppressed. We see his patience for those who struggle. And we see his desire that we treat others with the same compassion. Our desire to help people must always flow out of the example that God sets before us.

When we help others in need, we change their world. We can't change the entire world, but we can change the world immediately around us - one life at a time. We can also ask God to change us, to take away things that hold us down and get in the way. We want to be change agents in the hands of God - this is our purpose.

Our strategy is simple. We will help people in three ways. We will help them to know God and enter into a personal relationship with him. We will help them to love life and rise above the challenges of the world. We will also help them to serve others and to discover their God-given purpose.

Knowing God 200Know God

Knowing God is possible because of the incarnation of Jesus Christ, the belief that God took on flesh and became like us (John 1:14; Hebrews 1:3). Loving Life 200Love Life

Loving life happens when we live life as it was meant to be. It is based on the belief that God is the Creator; and more than simply setting life in motion, he created us with purpose. He has a purpose for the way that we relate to him and for the way that we relate to each other. Jesus came to teach us these things and to experience what can be called an abundant life (John 10:10). Read Complete Article

Serve Others - 2Serve Others

Serving others is a calling to follow the example of Jesus who came into our world to be a servant (Mark 10:45). In addition to giving us a picture of God, Jesus came to show us how we should live (John 13:13-15). We were made to do good works and to fulfill God's purposes (Ephesians 2:10). This is a purpose-driven life. Read Complete Article
