Reporting from Africa

Don’t miss church this Sunday, May 10. Our team will be sharing what we did and how God showed up to accomplish his purpose and plan. Leading the team was Marie Pascal and Armel Foade. Joining them were Pastor Mike and Carrol Mercurio, Pastor Allen and Debra Grimes, Karen Geiss from France and Dr. Martha Crews from Texas.
Together we visited 5 cities, 4 schools, 3 hospitals and 1 church. We also visited the United States Embassy and the Department of Health for Cote D’Ivoire. We stopped in to see the largest Cathedral in the world and we experienced the wonders of an African safari. We drove through the countryside and enjoyed the ocean.
It certainly was a busy trip, but it was very rewarding and a lot of fun. We grew closer to God and to each other. For those of us who had never been to Africa before, it was a once in a lifetime experience, but we would certainly love to go back. Perhaps someday, you will have the opportunity to travel and see other places where God is working around the world.
