THE GOSPEL OF MARK
Join us on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. on Zoom for our new study on Mark.
This book is one of the first accounts of the life of Jesus of Nazareth. Historical traditions available link this book to a Christian scribe named John Mark, who was a coworker with Paul and a close partner with Peter.
Mark’s gospel account shows Jesus as an unexpected Messiah who came not as a political ruler but as a servant. Religious leaders, crowds, and even his disciples questioned Jesus’ authority as Jesus focused on establishing God’s Kingdom on earth.
