We will change our world by helping people know God, love life and serve others.
Knowing God is possible because of the incarnation of Jesus Christ and the reflection of his life in ours. This leads to eternal life.
Jesus said, “This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3 – See also John 1:18; 17:26; 20:21-22, 1 John 4:12 and “connect the dots”)
Loving life is the result of being filled by the Spirit of God, nourished by the Word of God and encouraged by the people of God. This is inherent in discipleship and, when truly experienced, it is the abundant life.
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10)
Serving others is a calling that follows the example and creativity of Christ who made us to do good works. This is a purpose-driven life.
Jesus said, “I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you.” (John 13:15 – see also Ephesians 2:10)
Changing our world is possible because of the change that Jesus can make in us as we submit our lives to him. Changing the world around us is a measured hope of making a difference in the community that God has called us to serve. This change will take place one life at a time and one nationality after another. We will seek God’s leading in all things and multiply our ministry over and over again in obedience to him.
Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:18-20)
